Best Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2011

On the evening of Monday 28th February, at the prestigious Scottish Restaurant Awards held in Glasgow, the Isle of Eriska was honoured to be awarded the accolade of Best Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2011, beating off stiff competition, namely Hotel du Vin Glasgow at One Devonshire Gardens and the Michelin-starred Number One Restaurant at The Balmoral in Edinburgh.

Check out our awards video from the event and meet David Morton, our newest recruit and Eriska Experience Ambassador!

The marvellous food of Chef Robert MacPherson, combined with the high level of service and attention to detail that the Eriska team demonstrates every day to diners and guests at the hotel, has garnered Eriska this prominent award. Coupled with the support of our past and current guests, we are thrilled to have received this award and, as ever, thank you for your continued support and look forward to celebrating our achievement with you throughout the year!

If you would like to help us win another restaurant award, we would appreciate your vote! Click on the link to vote for the Isle of Eriska Restaurant in the Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year Awards.

However, almost simultaneous with this, the new Eriska Sports Hall is nearing completion with our first sporting events inside set to take place next week.  The substantial (10,600 sq ft/972 sq m) facility will allow sports enthusiasts to play football, tennis, badminton or bowls (depending on configuration) and separate golf practice on indoor nets throughout the year, regardless of rain or shine!

So, for those worried about piling on too many calories during a gourmet 4-course meal including a 40-cheese trolley, you can easily work them off, regardless of the weather!
