Weather 3rd June
Having been delighted with the weather last week and having felt quite fortunate I was slightly surprised by a guests comment that this is the kind of weather they would expect at this time of year- Clearly they have not been living on the West Coast of Scotland for the last 12 months as this is far from the kind of weather we have come to expect! Anyway it was a week with a couple of nights of rain to keep both golf course green and garden growing and days of sunshine and warmth to keep guests happy and expectations met!
So whats ahead for the rest of the Jubilee Celebrations- and particularly our beacon lighting tomorrow and the week ahead?
Today: Sunny spells, some cloud building, isolated showers. Cool.
Monday: A fine and dry start with lots of sunshine around. Once again inland areas see cloud developing through the morning, perhaps bringing the odd shower in the afternoon.
Tuesday: Some early sunshine, with any light showers overnight dying out. Clear spells all day with a little cloud
Wednesday: A bright sunny start then some cloud building to bring just a few well scattered showers. On the cool side though with light winds, pleasant in the sunshine.
Thursday: Most of the day will be dry and bright though rain will spread in later.
Friday: Unsettled with further spells all day. Cool with freshening easterly winds.
Saturday: Unsettled conditions are expected fairly widely across the country, giving a mixture of sunny spells and showers.
