Clearly stevens Rain dance has done the trick as we had a shower on Friday and again today and immediately the greens all came to life and not only turned to a more healthy colour but also started to grow vigorously leaving plenty of work before Howard swan arrives tomorrow for a site inspection. No doubt given his ability to bring rain and snow we will be wearing waterproofs and digging out umbrellas again by Tuesday!

So what really is ahead:
Today: Rather cloudy day with the possibility of scattered showers, heaviest in the evening

Monday: damp start to the dawn but then brightening up with bright or sunny end to the day

Tuesday: Rather cloudy with occasional bright spells. Light showers, these more frequent across hills

Wednesday: Cool with bright or sunny intervals and a few mainly light showers, Light east to northeast winds freshening

Thursday: Stronger winds will make it seem cooler but should remain drier than Wednesday:

Friday: Rain affecting us this morning becoming persistent and very heavy in places,

Saturday: Bright spells and showers for many, with showers turning heavy and thundery in places. Becoming windy with persistent rain arriving overnight.
