weather wc 22nd July

After getting last week completely wrong and being incredibly pessimistic and being very surprised with the good weather I am now very concerned when I hear of heatwaves during the olympics but there is always hope. So with the games upon us and August around the corner we can only hope that the conditions for the games will be good along with the sun shining in the school children holiday.

So what do we think is ahead this week?

Today: Mainly dry this morning although there will be rain and this will increase and become even more windy.

Monday: Cloudy, some patchy rain on higher peaks but some drier weather should push in later.

Tuesday: Mainly cloudy with patchy light rain during the morning with some drier weather. Rain will become more persistent during the afternoon.

Wednesday: Cloudy with further outbreaks of rain but then drier, brighter weather will extend southwards to most places during the afternoon

Thursday: Better conditions with a sunny and warm day, although it will become increasingly breezy across more northern areas.

Friday: Cloudier with outbreaks of rain, and a strong southwesterly wind.

Saturday: Drier, fresher conditions with largely clear skies to but remaining windy.
