
Robert MacPherson, our Head Chef, joined the team at Eriska in 1987 and was immediately recognised with the award of 3 AA Rosettes and a mark of 7 out of 10 in the good food guide. This year Eriska has been shortlisted in the final of the Thistle Awards as the "Taste of Scotland." The hotel dining room is the amalgamation of four areas, firstly the morning room with views over the lawns to the south, secondly the business room which catches the morning sun then the butler’s pantry which joins the two earlier rooms together and finally the conservatory which was added in 2002 with views under the boughs of the Oak planted the year the house was built. A state-of-the-art Air Conditioning system insures and balances temperature throughout the year and the policy of not resetting tables and insuring a similar location throughout your stay ensures that you do not have any anxiety over your arrival to the dining room.
