Hotel Re-Opened - 26 January 2012

From Friday 27th January 2012, the Isle of Eriska Hotel, Spa and Golf, is once again open to hotel residents for the rest of the year.

Our spa, spa facilities, golf, indoor leisure facility and dining in the main house will also be open.

Spa Re-Opened to All - 26 January 2012

Our Spa re-opened on Monday 23rd January 2012 for all residents, leisure club members and non-residents (subject to terms and conditions) right through until the end of the year.

Eriska joins Relais & Chateaux - 17 November 2011

Everyone at Eriska is delighted to have been elected to join Relais & Chateaux. Eriska is one of only 3 new members in the UK to join the pretigiuos group.

Established over half a century ago, Relais & Châteaux is an association of the world’s finest hoteliers, chefs and restaurateurs that has set the standard for excellence in hospitality. Relais & Châteaux has redefined luxury hospitality by emphasising holistic experiences that transport its guests, taking them on a sensual journey and introducing them to a deeper, truer understanding of the Art of Living.

The story of Relais & Châteaux begins in 1941 when two former music hall entertainers, Marcel and Nelly Tilloy purchased “La Cardinale”, an estate in the Rhône Valley. In 1952 the Tilloys began recruiting other hoteliers and restaurant owners that shared the same level of quality and excellence and passions for fine cuisine and Art de Vivre. In 1954, this group of kindred spirits merged together to create Relais & Châteaux. In the beginning, there were only eight establishments along the road between Paris and the French Riviera. Arnotts House Weekend Breaks Rate - 23 October 2011

Since we opened Arnotts House back in June it has been busy and has certainly added another dimension to Eriska. We are therefore now delighted to be able to offer Arnotts house for shorter packages from throughout November and December. rates start from £200 per night.

Arnotts house is a three bedroom house- built in 1850 for the redoubtable butler of the main house. It was extensively refurbished in the summer and now boats a wonderful new conservatory and deck with its own hot tub and stunning view to Ben Cruachan.

Guests staying at Arnotts House have access to all the hotels leisure facilities including the pool, golf course and indoor sports hall.

Veuve Clicquot Wine Weekend- 5th November - 03 October 2011

We are delighted to announce that the Veuve Clicquot Brand Ambassador- Rachel Ramanathan- will host out Wine weekend this november based around the most famous Champagne house- The day will include a tutored tasting in the afternoon - for true enthusiasts followed by a relaxed yet educational and enormously enjoyable gastronomic dinner with matched wines from across the range. chef- Simon McKenzie - has worked closely with Rachel to develop a a menu which will show the wines of varying vintages and characteristics- but all with the housestyle at heart- to their highest potential. The cost for the saturday night will be from £207.00 per person to include accommodation, dinner and the matched wines.

Arnotts House achieves 5 Star rating from Visit Scotland - 19 September 2011

After a few weeks of waiting we are delighted to be able to announce that Arnotts House- our new self catering 3 bedroom property on the top of the island, has achieved a 5 star rating from Visit Scotland. The house named after the redoubtable butler Arnott, was converted in the spring to form the first of our new Self Catering units. It has 3 large bedrooms with ensuite bath and shower rooms, a modern kitchen and livingroom and a wonderful new conservatory facing south east and catching all of the days sunshine with wonderful views over Loch Creran to Ben Cruachan. In addition it also has a large paved garden with a jacuzzi hot tub and guests have access to all the hotels leisure facilities.

We have been granted our Eat Scotland Gold Award having been recognised for outstanding levels of quality in key levels of food and service, which only a few number of restaurants achieve.
