Its amazing how time flies when you are having fun but every time I look in the mirror and see my slightly grey muzzle I remember that I am not quite as young as I once was but i then try to push it to the back of my mind. However it seems to be different for my two leggeds as they seem to take pride in making me feel old and again this year insisted on me dressing up and showing off my age by attending a birthday celebration.
In truth I would have preferred all to have been forgotten but when I reached the party I had changed my mind. Firstly there was the surprise that my little sister has been brought up all the way from Edinburgh and then naturally my other sister- Marti who lives with the two leggeds at Lymphoy was there. However I was surprised that given this party was for my birthday they all seemed to think it was appropriate to join in- I can't think why??
But when the cake was presented and I had blown out the candles with a bit of help from the wind we all tucked in and a good cake it was too. The two leggeds had bought a special Birthday cake book for us and now they can offer them to friends who come to celebrate at the hotel so as long as you invite me i can put a good word in for you!!

Fantastic break
We were at Erisca for the 5th time last week to celebrate my 50th Birthday, a page would not be enough to praise this hotel, the staff, room food everthing was brilliant, but what does it for us is the welcome that Zoe gets, unlike rather standard hotels this luxurious retreat welcome dogs and understand that people are responsible owners. Zoe enjoyed swimming 3 times a day ,and the fantastic walks round the island. She also took Dibleys advice and sampled the sausages on many occasions. A big thank you to all staff
